EP226 - Espeon, Not Included Ash, Misty and Brock are waiting for their friend Sakura, when suddenly an Espeon comes running toward them! The Espeon turns out to be Sakura's—her Eevee evolved between now and the last time they met. After the group goes to meet Sakura's sisters, Sakura asks Misty for a battle so that Espeon can get experience battling Pokémon other than Eevee evolutions from her sisters. Espeon and Corsola battle and are evenly matched for the duration of the battle, but Corsola eventually wins. Sakura's sisters return and tell the group that their Pokémon have been stolen by Team Rocket. Sakura and Espeon devise a plan to use Espeon as bait to lure Team Rocket back, as they have all the Eevee evolutions except for Espeon. As predicted, Team Rocket returns and captures Espeon. Sakura and the others follow their balloon back to where the other Pokémon are being kept and has Espeon help Corsola and Pikachu defeat Team Rocket with a combination of Quick Attack, Swift and Psybeam. Sakura ultimately decides to set off on her own journey with Espeon by her side.

AG170 - Second Time's the Charm! Ash decides to challenge Hoenn Frontier Brain Anabel to another battle with the same team he chose before. Anabel also uses the same Pokémon, however Ash actually manages to see her third and final party member—Espeon. Ash chooses Pikachu to try and outmatch Espeon with speed, only to find her Espeon is incredibly fast and well-trained. Anabel is able to give Espeon commands with her mind, making it more difficult for Ash to have an upper hand. Her Espeon knows Quick Attack, Iron Tail, Zap Cannon and Psychic, and goes all-out against Pikachu. The battle takes a sudden turn when the lights are knocked out and Anabel cannot see well enough to give Espeon commands. Espeon begins to panic and Pikachu knocks it out with a combination of Iron Tail and Volt Tackle.

BW102 - Team Eevee and the Pokémon Rescue Squad! Ash, Iris and Cilan are on their way to the Unova League when they realize their path is completely blocked by fallen rocks. Ash and Iris impulsively attempt to climb over them, the rocks shift, and they begin to fall down the mountain. Suddenly a man and his Eevee are running down the cliff next to them and he calls out Espeon to use Psychic and save them from falling. The man introduces himself as Virgil, the leader of the Team Eevee Pokémon Rescue Squad! He has one of each of the Eevee evolutions and they assist him in helping people and Pokémon during emergencies. Unfortunately, Espeon has no further role in the rest of the episode.

Red's Espeon, Vee

In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Red obtains an Eevee (nicknamed Vee) that had been experimented on by Team Rocket. For a long period of time, Vee could evolve into either Jolteon, Vaporeon or Flareon at will depending on the situation and then back to Eevee. After traveling with Red and defeating Team Rocket, Eevee evolves into a normal Espeon and is unable to evolve to the other elemental forms. Even so, Red states he is happy that Vee could be free from the nightmares of the past. Vee's known moves as an Espeon are Psychic, Morning Sun and Psych Up.
